Disclaimer and terms

What DeVOLT is, what it is not, and what you accept by using it.

This is software, not advice

DeVOLT is an interface to public lending protocols and decentralised exchanges. Nothing in this app or in this documentation is financial, investment, legal or tax advice, and nothing here is a recommendation to enter any position. Grades, rankings and projected yields describe measured data. They are not opinions about what you should do with your money.

Non custodial, in both directions

DeVOLT never takes custody of your assets. Every transaction is signed by you, and there is no arrangement in which the protocol moves your funds without a signature. The same fact carries its other half: there is no support desk that can reverse a transaction, recover a lost key, or undo a position you did not mean to open. You are in control, and so you carry the consequences.

No warranty

The software is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted or error free operation. To the fullest extent the law allows, no contributor to DeVOLT is liable for any loss arising from your use of it, including loss of funds.

What you are responsible for

your keys
Custody of your wallet and its recovery phrase. Nobody involved in DeVOLT can restore access to a wallet you lose control of.
your decisions
Which market, which size, which multiplier, and when to close. The app shows what it measured; the choice is yours.
your jurisdiction
Whether using this software is lawful where you are, and whether you may hold the assets involved. Some markets require approval from the issuer of the collateral before you can hold it at all.
your taxes
Reporting and paying whatever is owed where you live. DeVOLT does not produce tax records and does not report on your behalf.

Eligibility

You may not use DeVOLT if doing so would breach any law that applies to you, or if you are subject to sanctions that prohibit it. Some assets reachable through the underlying venues are permissioned by their issuers and require you to be approved by that issuer. DeVOLT flags those markets; it does not grant that approval and cannot verify it for you.

These terms can change

The protocol changes and so do these pages. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it. The Security chapter lists the powers the owner of the contracts holds, which is the part of any change that can reach a position you already have open.
